Welcome to TPMG Neurology – Carrollton, the practice of board certified neurologist, Qingyan Zhu, MD. A highly trained neurology specialist with nearly 20 years of experience, Dr. Zhu offers in-office evaluation and management of neurological diseases for adult and pediatric patients, ages 12 years and older.

In-office services and testing include Electroencephalogram (EEG) for patients suffering from epilepsy or suspected seizures, Electromyography (EMG) and Nerve Conduction Study (NCS) for diagnosis of all types of neuropathy, carpal tunnel syndrome, radiculopathies, botox injections for chronic migraines, trigger point injections for myofascial pain, and acupuncture for pain, anxiety, depression, and headaches.

Dr. Zhu provides compassionate care for a variety of neurological conditions to include:

    • All types of headaches (migraine, tension, cluster, etc.)
    • Numbness, tingling, & weakness
    • Neuropathies
    • Multiple sclerosis
    • Seizures & epilepsy
    • Parkinson’s disease

Dr. Zhu is extensively trained in neurology and is a qualified acupuncture practitioner in the State of Virginia. She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and a member of the American Academy of Neurology.


We ask that patients arrive 30 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork for their visit. If you are a new patient, please bring your insurance card(s), referral document if applicable, medication list, and previous test reports to your appointment.

If you cannot keep your scheduled appointment, we ask that you kindly provide at least a 24 hour notice so that your appointment time may be offered to another patient seeking care. Please note, if the requested 24 hours’ notice is not given, a cancellation fee of $25 may be charged.
