Tidewater Family Medicine has been caring for patients on the Peninsula since 1982, and joined TPMG in October 2013.
Our office hours are Monday through Friday, and patients are seen by appointment only. If you should require same day medical care, please call our office early in the morning, and we will make every effort to accommodate your request.
Walk-in labs are available Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and include Pro Time lab tests. Please request prescription refills during your regular appointment with the physician, or ask your pharmacy to send us your request to be processed.
Please allow 48 hours for us to process your request after we receive it from your pharmacy.
If you are seeing a specialist and your insurance requires you to have a referral, please contact our office 2-3 business days prior to your appointment for us to process this request through your insurance carrier.
If you should have an urgent matter after hours that does not warrant a 911 call, you can have the on-call physician paged at (757) 594-2000. Please do not contact the on-call physician for medication refills.
Billing questions should be directed to the office manager, or by contacting our Central Billing Office at (757) 232-8777.
If you should have questions regarding your insurance coverage, your financial obligation and/or insurance payments, please contact your insurance carrier directly.
