Virtual Cooking Classes:
Sarita Golikeri, MD, ABOM, CCMS at TPMG Williamsburg Geriatrics and Lifestyle Medicine offers monthly, virtual cooking classes, providing healthy alternatives to some of your favorite meals. After signing up for the classes, participants receive recipes to follow along from their kitchens. Dr. Golikeri incorporates good nutrition and wellness practices into her daily routine and would like to share that knowledge.
TPMG Coastal Internal Medicine Maintenance Programs:
At TPMG Coastal Internal Medicine, Margaret Gaglione, MD, FACP offers maintenance programs such as meal programs and grocery store food programs to help participants achieve their weight-loss goals. Dr. Gaglione also uses pharmaceutical therapeutics if needed.
Diabetes Self-Management Education Classes:
Gale Pearson, MS, RDN, CDCES, and Mary Roberts-Curran, MA, RDN, CHES at TPMG Nutrition Services offers virtual Diabetes Self-Management Education (DSME) classes the first three Mondays of every month from 5 pm-8 pm. The goal of DSME classes is to help people with diabetes learn how to manage the condition while living healthy lives now and in the future.
