Alexandria L. Bikker, MMS, PA-C, received her Master of Medical Science from the Physician Assistant Program at Temple University-Lewis Katz School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During which, she gained extensive clinical experience working with patients in pediatrics, family medicine, and other clerkships. She is board certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). Alexandria joined TPMG Denbigh Family Medicine in Newport News.

Since she was a young girl, Alexandria found passion in science and helping people in need.  Her decision to join the medical field was solidified after working as a caregiver for dementia patients and through her experiences volunteering for medical mission trips overseas in third world countries. As a physician assistant, Alexandria is dedicated to giving patients her full attention, respect, and motivation. She thoughtfully invests time caring for and educating her patients and hopes they will invest the same time improving their health.

Her medical background includes providing patient care for adults with chronic medical conditions, identifying and managing infectious diseases in patients, and performing physical examinations, and medication management. In addition, she conducted years of research at the National Institutes of Health, managing pharmaceutical clinical trials.

Alexandria currently treats patients of all ages with acute and chronic conditions-anything from the common cold to diabetes and high blood pressure. Additionally, she provides women’s health examinations and management.

New to the Hampton Roads area, Alexandria loves participating in outdoor activities such as trips to the beach, long hikes, and local festivals. She also enjoys exploring new areas of the world and learning about different cultures. Alexandria warmly welcomes new patients to contact the office to reserve an appointment with her.
