Anita Moghe, PA-C, earned her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant studies from UT Southwestern School of Health Professions in Dallas, Texas. Upon graduation, she gained extensive experience as a physician assistant in various clinical settings, including internal medicine, family medicine, and aesthetic medicine. She is board certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). With over 20 years of experience in practice, Anita joins TPMG Thimble Shoals Family Medicine in Newport News.

From a young age, Anita had an interest in medicine, specifically cardiology. She finds joy working in this career field for the opportunity to educate patients and positively impact their health. As a physician assistant, she takes time to listen to her patients and believes good health is achievable through simple lifestyle modifications. With this in mind, she takes a holistic approach to medicine, focusing on preventative medicine and disease management. As she would say the “perfect intersection of happy and healthy.”

Her clinical background includes aesthetic procedures such as microdermabrasion, Botox, dermal fillers, and laser skin tightening. She has extensive experience creating customized diet plans for individuals with diabetes and bariatric patients. Anita treats patients of all ages for a variety of chronic conditions such as asthma, sleep disorders, skin and gynecological conditions, diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol. In addition to chronic conditions, she also provides acute care visits and preventative health visits such as physicals.

In addition to English, Anita speaks three Indian languages including Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarathi enabling her to communicate with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Living in the Tidewater area, she enjoys the close proximity to the water, rich history, and scenic trails. Outside of the office, she enjoys volunteering, cooking, and yoga.  Anita warmly welcomes new patients to contact the office to reserve an appointment with her.
