Anne White, MSN, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner in Chesapeake at TPMG Greenbrier Family Medicine. Anne earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Liberty University in Lynchburg and a Master of Nursing with a family nurse practitioner concentration from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Anne is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Initially introduced to the medical profession during her career as a firefighter, Anne grew to appreciate the vital role nurses play in the delivery of holistic health care. She is dedicated to providing patient-centered health care and building trusted patient-provider relationships. As a family nurse practitioner, Anne embraces a collaborative approach to empower patients to participate in their health care, which she believes creates an overall better experience and quality of care.
Anne has over a decade of clinical care nursing experience prior to joining TPMG, including emergency medicine and acute and chronic care. She believes that treating patients with their diverse cultural, spiritual, and psychological needs in mind is essential to providing the highest quality of care. She provides family-centered care to all ages with a focus on health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, and management for a variety of conditions such as thyroid dysfunction and hypertension. Her special medical interests include wound care and the management of chronic conditions that impact the patient’s health throughout their lifetime.
Outside of the office, Anne enjoys decorating her home, spending quality time with her family, and exercising to stay healthy.
