After volunteering at a free health clinic in North Carolina, Dana was instantly drawn to the medical field. She believes building trust and creating supportive relationships is the key to providing quality patient care. Dana approaches medicine compassionately, hoping to make every patient smile during their visit.
Dana’s clinical background includes providing inpatient and outpatient care, as well as surgical assistance in the operating room and cardiac catheterization lab. She spent nearly four years working as a Surgical Physician Assistant with a private vascular surgery practice. Subsequently, she worked as an Emergency Room Physician Assistant. In these roles, Dana gained experience performing local wound care and a variety of vascular procedures. At TPMG Hampton Roads Center for Dermatology, Dana treats patients of all ages with a variety of dermatological conditions, including acne, eczema, skin cancer, and hair, nail, and scalp disorders. She performs aesthetic procedures as well.
Although Dana was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, she enjoys living in the Hampton Roads area with the close proximity to the ocean and leisure activities. When she is not in the office, she is spending time with her daughter, her Miniature Schnauzer Pearl, and her husband who is currently serving in the United States Navy. Dana warmly welcomes new patients to contact the office to reserve an appointment with her.
