He earned a medical degree at University of Virginia School of Medicine, Charlottesville, Virginia. Dr. Kanter completed internship and residency training in Internal Medicine through University of Michigan Medical Center, Ann Arbor, Michigan, and a fellowship in Cardiology/Electrophysiology through Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Kanter is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Electrophysiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
