Cardiologist in Norfolk, VA

H. Lee Kanter, MD, FACC received an undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland.  He earned a medical degree at University of Virginia School of Medicine, Charlottesville, Virginia.  Dr. Kanter completed internship and residency training in Internal Medicine through University of Michigan Medical Center, Ann Arbor, Michigan, and a fellowship in Cardiology/Electrophysiology through Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Missouri.

Dr. Kanter is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Electrophysiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

Dr. Kanter was born in Norfolk, Virginia and has practiced throughout the local area for over 20 years. He brings to patients a wealth of knowledge and experience in providing cardiovascular and electrophysiological care.  He is the recipient of numerous awards and honors, authored in a variety of publications and participated as an associate and principal investigator of many clinical trials.
