Lawrence C. Hyman, MD earned his undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1974. He completed his degree in medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in 1978, and his residency in Family Medicine there, as well, in 1981.
Dr. Hyman is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice and is board certified in Family Medicine. He is currently an Assistant Professor at Eastern Virginia Medical School, Department of Family and Community Medicine.
Dr. Hyman is married with three grown sons and enjoys golfing, sailing and landscaping.
Dr. Hyman opened his practice, Tidewater Family Medicine, PC in 1982, and joined TPMG in 2013.
