Dr. Hopson has extensive experience in ankle arthroscopy, posterior tibialis tendon dysfunction, external fixation, and limb salvage procedures. He is a pioneer in this region in total ankle replacement surgery, performing the first ankle replacement surgery at each of the hospitals where he is currently on staff.  He continues to lecture on and teach other surgeons this advanced procedure throughout the country.
