Nancy S. Kamel, MD, earned both her undergraduate degree and medical degree from Cairo University Hospital in Cairo, Egypt. She then went on to complete her residency training at Canton Medical Education Foundation (CMEF) in Canton, Ohio. She joined TPMG Corporate Landing Internal & Family Medicine in 2016.
As a highly skilled, board certified internal medicine doctor in Virginia Beach with over 20 years of experience, Dr. Kamel has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in assessing and treating various health related issues. She brings a unique perspective to medicine with her prior clinical experience working in various specialties including cardiology and gastroenterology. As an internal medicine physician, Dr. Kamel sees patients 18 years of age and older and is experienced in treating all types of acute and chronic conditions such as acute respiratory infections, asthma, and bronchitis. Her special medical interests include diabetes management, high blood pressure, and lipid disorders.
Dr. Kamel strives to deliver quality patient care by treating each patient as if they were a member of her family. She takes the time to actively listen to each patient, provide counseling when necessary, and develop a treatment plan in accordance with their specific needs. Dr. Kamel wants to ensure patients who become sick have access to more immediate care by offering same-day sick visits.
Dr. Kamel is an active member of several organizations including the American College of Physicians (ACP) and American Medical Association (AMA). She was also awarded “Top Performer” at the Emergency Department during her time at Cairo University Hospital.
Outside of the office, Dr. Kamel values spending time with her family, enjoys going to the movies, reading, and swimming. Dr. Kamel looks forward to building her practice at TPMG Corporate Landing Internal and Family Medicine and welcomes new patients to schedule an appointment.
