Robert P. Butcher, MD, FAAFP, received his undergraduate degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1986 and his medical degree from Brown University Medical School in 1990. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Scott Air Force Base Medical Center, Illinois in 1993, followed by nine years of military service as Chief of Family Practice at both Little Rock Air Force Base and Langley Air Force Base, achieving the rank of Lt. Colonel.
Dr. Butcher is board certified in Family Medicine and has been practicing in the Tidewater area since 1997.
