Sabrina Brown, MSN, FNP, is a board certified family nurse practitioner in Hampton Roads, VA. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio and provided care as a Registered Nurse for four years in the Complex Pulmonary/Cystic Fibrosis Unit at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. She continued her education at the University of Cincinnati, earning a Master of Science in Nursing in 2017.

After suffering a serious injury in a climbing accident, Sabrina saw firsthand the importance of compassionate patient care. From her own care and recovery experience, she knew she wanted to pursue a career in medicine to fulfill that role. As a nurse practitioner, she has been able to not only pursue her lifelong passion for science and medicine, but also build relationships with her patients to help them improve their health and well-being.

In her clinical practice, Sabrina enjoys treating conditions such as asthma, COPD, and sleep apnea. Working with her patients, Sabrina takes an individualized approach to help them control their symptoms, prevent further progression, and meet their health goals. She also has a special interest in community health education focusing on disease prevention and health promotion

Sabrina is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is certified in Pediatric Nursing (PNCB). As a Registered Nurse, Sabrina was nominated for The Making a Difference Award and multiple times for The Daisey Award for Extraordinary Nurses in recognition of her dedication to excellent patient care.

Outside of the office, Sabrina and her husband enjoy the benefits of Virginia’s variety of natural landscapes and taking part in the numerous opportunities for outdoor activities afforded by the area’s proximity to the beach and mountains. In addition to traveling, Sabrina is fond of visiting art museums, studying foreign languages, watching movies, reading, and cooking.

TPMG Lung and Sleep Specialists in Newport News welcomed Sabrina in January 2019.
