She received her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, where she also completed her residency in Internal Medicine. She served as Chief Resident from 1999 to 2000. Dr. Younger is board certified in Internal Medicine, and has been practicing at Family Practice of Hampton Roads since 2000. She has an interest in diabetes management. After personally being diagnosed with Type I diabetes in 2008, Dr. Younger became involved with Insulin dependence, a group that emphasizes the need to live an active, healthy lifestyle.
