Prior to moving to the Williamsburg area, Dr. Hoag was one of two doctors serving a small community in the Arizona desert town of Queen Creek. Queen Creek is a town of less than 5,000 people populated by ranchers and farmers as well as the Spanish-speaking immigrant laborers who worked on those establishments. There were also many people who just wanted to get away from it all and loved the solitude of the desert. In this setting, Dr. Hoag provided a wide range of medical services and treatments to people of all walks of life.
Growing up in a military household, Dr. Hoag has traveled around the United States and throughout the globe from California to Florida, Europe and the Middle East.
