Stephen R. Hawkins, PA-C has been practicing as a Physician Assistant in Gastroenterology since 1999.  He is a graduate of the Citadel, the College of William and Mary and the Medical University of South Carolina.  He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine.

Mr. Hawkins has been working with Dr. Richard Hartle since 2002, and joined Dr. Hartle at Digestive Disease Center of Virginia upon its establishment in 2010.  In 2014, Mr. Hawkins, along with Dr. Hartle, joined TPMG to form the TPMG Digestive Disease Center of Virginia.
