Our Team

Together, our team of clinical research professionals have over 60 years of experience conducting research across a wide range of disease states.


Vijay Subramaniam, MD, FCCPVijay Subramaniam, MD, FCCP | Clinical Research Director – Williamsburg

Dr. Subramaniam is board certified in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine. His initial interested in research started back in his pulmonary fellowship during which time he studies the efficacy of portable oxygen concentrators.  At the urge of his patients, Dr. Subramaniam started participating in clinical trials in his private practice.  He was primary investigator on a number of pulmonary based trials that continued upon joining TPMG. Dr. Subramaniam is the Medical Director of the Clinical Research Division in Williamsburg. 

 

 

Dawn BlochDawn Bloch, BS, CCRC | Clinical Research Coordinator

Dawn Bloch, BS, CCRC, has been a Clinical Research Coordinator since 1998 and obtained her certification in 2011.  She has been involved in over 100 trials in various indications: Cardiovascular Diseases, Digestive Diseases, Endocrine Diseases, Infectious Diseases, Musculoskeletal Diseases, Nutritional and Metabolic Diseases, Pulmonary Diseases, Skin and Connective Tissue Diseases, Vaccines, Women’s Health, and Mental Disorders.  Dawn has worked with over 30 sponsors throughout her research career.  Her love of research began while working for an Infectious Disease physician. She continues to be inspired everyday with all the new drugs available to help change people’s lives.

 

Alexis Brender a Brandis, BS | CRC | Clinical Research Coordinator

Alexis Brender a Brandis, BS is a new addition to the TPMG clinical research team, training closely under Dawn Bloch as a Clinical Research Coordinator. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the College of William & Mary in the Spring of 2020. She was recently awarded membership into the American Chemical Society after completing three years of Mass Spectrometric research on the Kinetic Method with W&M’s Ion Lab.
