Williamsburg, Virginia – The TPMG Clinical Research Division in Williamsburg is currently recruiting for two asthma trials for those with moderate to severe asthma. These trials strive to assist those who have difficulty controlling their asthma.
According to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, approximately 25 million Americans have asthma and 10 Americans die of asthma every day. This study will possibly assist those who are having difficulty with their asthma symptoms or are looking to try a new inhaler. The studies will run from eight months to one year in length and both will require at least one clinic visit every month for the duration of the trial.
“I’ve had patients who couldn’t perform their activities or hang out with their friends and family just because of their asthma,” said Williamsburg Clinical Research Director and lead investigator for the trial, Vijay Subramaniam, MD, FCCP. “Now they are doing so well that people are having trouble keeping up with them.”
– Eligible participants must be at least 18 years or older
