Denbigh Family Medical Practice

Denbigh Family Medicine has been serving patients in Newport News and the surrounding areas since 1956.

Patients are cared for by appointment. If you require same-day medical attention, please call early in the day to schedule an appointment.

Blood pressure checks and allergy shots are available Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to noon and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and do not require an appointment.

For patient convenience, Denbigh Family Medicine physicians perform in-office colposcopies. Designated laboratory tests are also offered at our location.

If hospitalization is required, our physicians will coordinate your care with a carefully selected and experienced hospital-based physician.

If you have an urgent medical need after office hours or on the weekend that requires the attention of a physician, please call our office for recorded instructions. After office hours TPMG Denbigh Family Medicine physicians share on-call services with TPMG Patrick Henry Family Medicine and TPMG Colonial Family Medicine.

Please request prescription refills during your appointment, or ask your pharmacist to fax us your refill request. Be sure to have your prescription bottle available when you call, so that you can provide the information necessary to complete your request. Please allow 48 hours for us to process your request after we receive it from your pharmacy.

Please request referrals during your appointment, or you may call our Referral line at (757) 877-0214. Follow the prompts and provide the information necessary to complete your request. Please allow 2-3 business days for us to process your request with your insurance carrier.
