Christopher A. Dawson, MD of TPMG Interventional Pain Treatment Center in Newport News and Williamsburg, believes pain relief is within reach without the use of opioids. Dr. Dawson decreases pain and helps patients avoid pain medication through minimally invasive, non-surgical spine procedures for the treatment of back pain, neck pain, and sciatica. His mission is to “help my patients live at their highest level of function.” Dr. Dawson graduated from the College of William and Mary with a degree in Kinesiology and earned his medical degree from West Virginia School of Medicine. He completed both his Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency followed by his Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Dawson is board-certified in Interventional Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
